| WHY? For many years my phone would ring in small hours of the morning and it will be one or the other of my friends in some sort of crisis. They will differ from time to time, but one thing was constant. On so many occasions I had to give numbers of other women I knew and was a friend with, to another of my female friends as mentioned knew more about how to solve it then I did. My friends did the same for me! It is great to be able to be connect people we know when need arises. Also, when you can actually provide advice from someone who seen it all before! For some years I kept saying: " We need a Society. Some kind of a Society of Women! Society, where all women can network and help each other. " All my friends agreed but nothing was ever done. Well, now after all this time, I have put my pen where my mouth was! Now we have it! |
Athena Women’s Networking Society is the organisation, which is open to all women regardless of their age, race, profession, beliefs or Country of origin. It is network of women who already know each other and all it's members are introduced on this way.
It's aims are to network contacts between women all around the World, with the view for co-operation and exchange of ideas, knowledge, personal contacts and help and personal development .
Women today, have many roles to play, and they can be "anywhere" from running the Blue Chip companies to raising the children.
Athena Women’s Networking Society is here to give channels of contacts for all it members and offer advice, training, self- development information, social events and fun!
Membership is open to any woman out there in the World. If you wish to become a member please email: members@athenaswomen.com (Athena’s Society website is soon to be launched and change of address will be posted on this page). The ONLY REQUIREMENT is referral . To join you have to be referred by the existing member. This is because all the members are checked for their expertise or their connections with members who know them.

Membership is £10 per year ( due to enormous quantity of material received, thank you :-) and time it is taking to process it, only first fifty will receive free membership) .
Members are invited to submit articles on any number of topics, which can cover anything from self-development, health, alternative therapies, employment, children, relationships, to legal matters. Please email articles@athenaswomen.com .

Members can email any questions they have about any topic they need the help with in their life. Questions will be forwarded to most qualified member to answer it in their own time.
(We will try to answer your questions as soon as possible. Please note: members will be replying on these enquiries on their own discretion and they are not paid for it by the Society).
Information available will be posted on the website and sorted by topics.
Newsletter will be sent out once a month to introduce new expertise fields, events, courses and other news.
